Without further ado lets gets into my washday!!!

Objective: To maintain my moisture grove and keep NG stretched

Execution:

  • Pre-Pooed  - mix of oils - Amla, castor, coconut, hemp, Orange Eo, Rosemary EO, tea tree EO
  • Shampooed - skipped this step because next week is clarify and protein
  • DC Aussie Moist 3 minute miracle + Suave naturals Rosemary mint Conditioner +Banana
  • Steamed for 20 mins. then rinsed with cool water
  • Tea+Oil+ACV rinse- For the sake of time I tried something a little unorthodox and it turned out pretty darn good. My tea of choice was Rooibos as it does not harden my hair. Steeped 2 cups with 1tbsp Olive oil, aloe vera juice and ACV with Eucalyptus oil. Lawdamercy my scalp was in ecstacy. ** This was my final rinse I did not rinse again after this**
  • T-shirt wrapped hair to get out excess water
  • Applied leave-ins Garnier Fructis sleek and shine to length of hair + Biolage Keratindose to ends and sealed with Hairitage Hydration Castor Infusion.
  • Air dried hair in 4 plaits
  • Once air dried I moisturized my NG with HH coconut marshmallow detangle and sealed it with HH castor infusion then coconut oil - I've started MS-ing my NG and it's been working out pretty awesome to the point that it stays moisturized for at least 5 days.
  • I undid the braids and was left with a nice braid out.

Final Thoughts:

My hair was pretty happy this week. I tried a few things differently( 3 in 1 rinse) and
Moisturizing and sealing my NG that proved to be a home run. AND I rocked a braid( I'm not a fan
Of braid outs and most low-manipulation styles) but it was Morher's Day and I wanted something different, plus it stretched my NG. I Noticed some obnoxious split ends trying to make a comeback - will be shutting them down next wash day.

Have an awesome rest of the week and don't forget to LOL- Love out Loud
